I tried his place once and wasn't impressed. The wait was much too long for one turkey sandwich. I didn't understand.

This is the first negative review I've given and I do it with hesitation but sometimes the facts are the facts.  The dining area was clean and the employees were polite.  It was down hill after that.
You go to a place for the food. The bread was dry,  I asked for the sandwich steamed but it seemed only the meat had been heated.  The meat was literally shredded which is not cool. The cheese was so thin you couldn't see it. The meat to bread ratio was unacceptable.  I literally tore off half the bread and through it away.
They did have Diet Mt Dew in their fountain machine which made me happy.  On the way out a young guy who I assume was the "cook" asked how it was and how it could be better.  I genuinely think he cares and is probably a great employee.
I don't want to be harsh but this is not a place I would ever recommend.

Went there for lunch on Thursday, worst deli sandwich I've ever had. The bread was dry and the cheese flavorless.  To call it a steamed deli sandwich was humorous at best, criminal at worst. Additionally, they only offer chips as a side and their choices for those were limited.   Spend the 20 minutes and drive to the Gus's Good Times Deli down on the UT campus.

The inside of the restaurant is nothing special, but the sandwiches are excellent and prices are very reasonable. We usually get carry out and always enjoy the food!
